Hey I was sad to notice the forums were no longer posted on the site Hopefully you guys are still active So after nearly 8 months of dreaming about Rotiform BLQs (Cast mono, 18x8.5 et35) I have decided I no longer like them and would like to go a different route. I have always loved either or a combination of vintage, deep-dish, and 3 piece wheels. I'm still a newbie therefore I don't know much about wheel options what really grew on me were Work XD9s over the past week after seeing it on the grey subaru posted below. The silver with bronze is just perfect I would almost want to do the exact same with 18x9 bronze XD9s although I don't just want to copy someone else. So I have come asking for any suggestions for wheels from you guys. It will be going on my 06 wrx wagon that is dark grey and I like the idea of a light bronze although it does not have to be. I would like preferably 18" but 17" would work too. Must be 5x100 and no wider than 9j. I would like something different, maybe something popular in the Euro area which has yet to be done on a Subaru. I would be willing to buy older wheels and have them repaired, cleaned and coated if needed, assuming the initial price isn't too high. I'm looking to spend around $1.5k on a set (not including tires), but I would be willing to go as high as $2k if I need to. Thanks in advance! ;D

Hey Austin, I think I'll have to fix tha login thing. lol Totally forgot we had a forum. Best bet is Kijiji man. Those JDM shops (Toronto JDM etc) are good places to look. You're better off going in person. The one in Mississauga doesn't haggle, the one in Scarborough does. also check here. forums.vwvortex.com/forumdisplay.php?852-Canadian-Classifieds-Wheels-and-Tires&order=descTSC, sucks for wheels. Not wide, shitty offsets and crazy prices. Never buy new. I don't think any of us have. All the beebs, Work etc wheels we have have been kijiji, Vortex or maxbimmer finds. Geoff has a set of Work Brombachers for sale. But they're pricy (worth every penny though) and are 18x8 and 18x10. I'll post up stuff when I see it.

Thanks so much Gilbert! Since I posted that I have been searching around, mostly the VW Vortex 5x100 classifieds. I found a couple things here and there but nothing I was set on or had the budget for. For now I'm thinking of just buying a temporary set to run for a year or two until I have enough time and cash to find a nice set of wheels plus have time for adapters and such. Right now for my temporary rims I was thinking something unique which you did this winter, mesh. I know these wheels are reps and they aren't my first choice although I would like to go stage 2 this spring and I don't have the budget for both and I really want an exhaust note. These are the wheels Avant Garde M220, only $250/rim, 5x100, 18x9 et30.
